A mid-day meal can make all the difference for someone struggling to make ends meet or to overcome homelessness. Continuing a commitment that has lasted for over thirty years to take part in the ecumenical work of New Bethany Ministries, our cooks help prepare lunch for clients there several times a month.
Cooks from Central Moravian Church arrive at New Bethany Ministries Mollard Hospitality Center on the corner of 4th and Wyandotte Streets in Southside Bethlehem by 10:00 a.m. and are finished around 1:15 p.m. They help prepare salads, vegetables, bread, and desserts for approximately one hundred fifty clients on first Mondays, first Fridays, third Tuesdays, and fifth Thursdays.
