In Quiet Stillness
Released in 2019, In Quiet Stillness is a 50 minute recording featuring contemplative and peaceful arrangements of Christmas carols and it’s the first solo piano CD recorded by Minister of Music, Becky Lepore. Piano arrangements by Dan Forrest, Ola Gjeilo and new piano arrangements by Becky on favorite Advent and Christmas hymns. Our collection of books and gift items can be purchased by visiting the church office, 73 W. Church Street during office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Creating the calendar gave us an opportunity to celebrate, despite the issues caused by a global pandemic, the amazing things the people of Central do to support the needs of our congregation, the community and the world. Donation of $5 gratefully accepted.

In the early part of each year, we carry the Moravian Daily Texts, a devotional guide with bible verses, hymn stanzas, and a prayer for each day of the year. The Moravian Christmas Putz Book
Written by Vangie Sweitzer and edited by Nancy Rutman, this 2012 publication offers all kinds of interesting information and photographs about the history of Moravian putzes or nativity scenes set up to tell the story of Jesus’ birth.
