Introducing:

The Bishop C. Hopeton Clennon Memorial Endowment for Social Action

Established by the Kessler family in memory of our beloved former Senior Pastor, this endowment fund will provide long-term support for our social action ministry here at Central Moravian Church. This ministry is guided by our Social Action Committee and encompasses such vital ministries to our congregation and community as the Racial Justice Team, Bethlehem Emergency Shelter, Bread for the World, Central Food Pantry, Cynthia’s Clothing Boutique, Central Santa, Victory House, and our Mental Health Awareness ministry. If you feel called to donate to this important ministry, please include the following in the check memo line or optional note if paying using the QR code: HCME for Social Action.

Giving to Central Moravian Church:

We invite you to express your commitment to our ministry and your gratitude to God by offering your time, creativity, wisdom and financial resources to Central Moravian Church. All your gifts make it possible for us to serve God together as we carry out the many worship, educational, fellowship, and service ministries of our congregation.

For questions about making financial gifts, contact our Stewardship Coordinator, Martha Jones. Donations should be directed to:

  • Central Moravian Church, 73 W. Church Street. Bethlehem, PA 18018

In addition to giving to our general budget, you can make contributions to specific ministries of the church. You can also contribute by giving to our special offerings throughout the year: special envelopes list 2024 (1)

Planned Giving – Planned Giving can support Central Moravian Church in a variety of ways. Some planned gifts can provide a life-long income to the donor. Other gift plans use estate and tax planning to provide for the church and heirs in ways that maximize the gift and/or minimize its impact on the donor’s estate. There are 3 types: gifts that use appreciated assets as a substitute for cash, gifts that return income or other financial benefits, and gifts that are payable upon the donor’s death. Brochures with specific information are available in information racks in the entrances of the sanctuary and also in the church office. For more information, please contact Moravian Ministries Foundation at www.mmfa.info or call 1-888-722-7923.

PayPal – You can use the QR Code below or on your PayPal app at the bottom, click on the $ sign, then “give”, and search Central Moravian Church. You can do a one-time donation or set up monthly giving. If you would like your gift to go to a specific area of support, please make a note in the comments.
