Introduction to 2022-2025 Strategic Plan
In October, the Joint Board approved the work of the Strategic Planning Committee. Thank you to the members of the Congregation for participating in the Strategic Planning Survey, thank you to the Standing Church Committees who helped shape the direction of strategic thinking, and thank you to the brothers and sisters of the church who worked on getting a wide range of ideas into a written document. Special thanks to Ann Raines for her professional guidance through this process.
The core of the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan is a two-page document. CLICK HERE Church wide distribution of the Strategic Priorities/Focus and Strategic Plan Summary is our goal. These two pages encapsulate the work of the five groups who engaged in specific areas of discernment. For those who would like to see the working documents of the committee groups, these will also be prepared in a booklet and made available in the Church Office and in the Sanctuary.
Central Moravian Church has embraced a strategic planning process that includes long term, middle term, and short-term priorities. The Strategic Plan stimulates dialogue, execution of actionable items, and monitoring of the mission and vision of the Church. This work is ongoing and responsive to the changing opportunities and context of church life. Please pray for God’s grace and guidance as we engage in working toward our future.
