Education Through Faith
To grow in faith and deepen our understanding of God, we provide opportunities for adults to explore Scripture, ask questions, share ideas, and build meaningful connections as we journey together in faith and community.
Programs & Education Opportunities
Comenius Tuesday
Comenius Tuesday is a dedicated book and discussion group that explores progressive Christianity, theology, and environmental issues. Group members seek to deepen their understanding of the Bible and its metaphorical implications for personal and communal development. The group meets every other Tuesday morning.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Join an engaging, free-spirited support community where members gather for meaningful conversation and ecumenical discussion. Group members share their life experiences in an open, welcoming environment over coffee, tea, and a simple breakfast, with sessions rotationally led by participants themselves. The group meets every Wednesday from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the lower level of Nitschmann Hall in the Christian Education Building, 73 W. Church St., Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as well as online via Zoom.
Thursday Women’s Bible Study
This class meets Thursdays at 11 a.m. in the church office conference room. For more information on the current study book or to join, contact Pat Herman through the church office.
Adult Sunday School
This class meets Sundays at 10 a.m. during the school year on the comfortable couches of the Zinzendorf Parlor. Coffee and tea are available in the kitchen. Everyone is welcome to attend whenever they wish, with no long-term commitment required.
Zinzendorf Library
New this year, our library has moved to the former Zinzendorf Parlor, where the adult Sunday School class meets. The collection features Moravian history and theology books alongside contemporary titles on various religious topics. It is open for browsing on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., before and after worship.
