BETHLEHEM, PA | September 1, 2026 — Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem has announced the appointment of Rev. Scott Siciliano as Director of Music.
The congregation learned of the news during Sunday morning worship on Aug. 30. His first day in worship will be Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026.
Siciliano succeeds longtime Minister of Music Rev. Becky Lepore, who is now in a new leadership role as Central Church’s Minister of Congregational Life, following more than two decades guiding the church’s music program.
Siciliano brings a rich background in sacred music, pastoral ministry, and performance to Central Moravian Church. He served 18 years as Minister of Worship and the Arts at Colonial Park United Church of Christ (CPUCC) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
In addition, he worked at Lancaster Theological Seminary (LTS) — now part of Moravian University’s School of Theology — as a worship leader, chapel organist, and adjunct instructor of worship.
“I am truly humbled and incredibly grateful that God has blessed me with the opportunity to join in ministry with the wonderful staff, talented musicians, and warm-hearted congregation of Central Church,” says Siciliano.
“From the moment my husband, Michael, and I first set foot on the grounds, we both felt a deep connection and commitment to this place,” he adds. “I cannot wait to see what God has in store for this church’s bright future, and I am forever grateful to now call Central our new spiritual home.”
An accomplished organist, pianist, vocalist, and composer, Siciliano has performed with the twice-Grammy-nominated Susquehanna Chorale and maintains an active private teaching studio.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music and Organ from Messiah University and a Master of Divinity from LTS. He was ordained to the ministry of Word and Sacrament in 2019 through the United Church of Christ.
As a liturgical artist, Siciliano emphasizes an integrative approach to worship, blending music, visual arts, and spoken word to deepen the congregational experience.
“Scott possesses the unique combination of extraordinary musical talent and passionate creativity, paired with a deep desire to use those gifts to build and nurture our worshipping community,” notes Central Moravian Church Senior Pastor Janel Rice. “His pastoral heart will be a blessing not only to our choirs, but to our entire congregation.”
