While COVID-19 has up-ended the worship life we knew before the pandemic, it has given us the opportunity to explore new ways of worshipping together. With the help of Will Schwab who will offer technical support, Chapel Organist Richard Miller and Pastors Maggie Wellert and Lynnette Delbridge will be collaborating to offer a mid-week worship service for Central Moravian Church.
These short, mid-week services will be comfortable, reflective, interactive, and inter-generational. As with any worship service, they will include music, prayer, and reflection on scripture. Each week might look slightly different depending on what is appropriate for the day’s theme. Services may include easily accessible music like Taize chants, visual imagery, short liturgies, simple movement such as sign language, and time to explore different ways to pray.
These services will be pre-recorded and posted by 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday night on Central’s YouTube Channel
