Cybersecurity Workshop

Cybersecurity is the way to protect computer networks and systems from service disruption, information theft and service redirection. The goal is simply to defend and protect servers, personal and private data, computers and mobile devices (smartphones, laptops and tablets) from attack resulting in damage or theft. Cyber threats aren’t just growing; they are evolving at a very rapid rate. In 2024, there were 3,205 data breaches reported effecting 353 million victims. Major companies lost billions of customer records. Cybersecurity is essential and cannot be ignored.
The Digital Ministry Committee is dedicated to keeping our congregation informed regarding the ever-changing world of technology and will conduct a second annual workshop and update on Sunday, August 17th in the Christian Education building, lower level, after the 10 a.m. worship service.
