Both Enslaved & Free: Men & Women of African Descent in Early Bethlehem Walking Tour
More than 50 people of African descent have been documented living in Bethlehem and its surrounding communities between 1740 and 1800. On this walking tour you will learn how these men and women came to be here, how they were treated, and how those who were enslaved became free. The tour will be led by Scott Gordon and Katie Faull.
