Ice Cream & Backpack Blessing

On Sunday, August 23rd, our worship will focus on prayers for all returning to school; both young people, staff, teachers, and also all of us as we prepare for another year of Sunday School and learning across all ages. Following the service, come gather with us on the lower church green and enjoy an ice cream treat from the Melt Ice cream truck. At noon (or after we have gotten our ice cream), we’ll ask our children and youth to bring their backpacks for a special blessing of the backpacks. Open to all – tell your friends and neighbors!
