Before we talk about Back to School – Enjoy some Ice Cream! Backpack Blessing and Ice Cream Truck, August 24th, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
On Sunday, August 24th, our worship will focus on prayers for all returning to school; both young people, staff, teachers, and also all of us as we prepare for another year of Sunday Schools and learning across all ages. Following the service, come gather with us on the lower church green and enjoy an ice cream treat from the Melt Ice cream Bar truck. At 12 p.m. (or after we have gotten our ice cream), we’ll ask our children and youth to bring their backpack for a special blessing of the backpacks. Open to all – tell your friends and neighbors!
