Lenten Series Continues
Join us as we commemorate Lent with our last session in a series that has been devoted to “Mission and Tradition” in the Moravian Church. We looked at Moravian congregations around the world and the ways in which their identities have been shaped by their mission stories and their special traditions. We will begin with supper at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. in the Christian Education building, Nitschmann Hall (40 W. Church Street).
April 10 (Peru) Speaker Betsy Miller, President of the Provincial Elders’ Conference of the Moravian Church Northern Province, will reflect on two remarkable journeys she made in 2018 to the newest Moravian congregation in the world at Bajo Canampa in the Amazon region of Peru and to the first ever African Moravian Women’s Conference in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. Supper will be provided by the Busy Workers Society
