By planning your memorial service\, preparing your memoir\, completing your end of life documents\, and making your wishes known ahead of time\, you can ease the burdens placed on your loved ones. On Wednesday\, October 23rd\, from 6 – 8 p.m.\, Rev. Janel Rice and Becky Lepore will guide you through choosing hymns\, scriptures\, and liturgies for your memorial service\, and will assist you in reflecting on important moments in your life as you share your journey with God through your memoir (lebenslauf). \nOn Wednesday\, November 13\, from 6 – 8 p.m.\, Justin Keiper from Cantelmi-Long Funeral Home\, and Rick Santee will provide helpful information to guide you in what to expect when a loved one passes away\, the resources offered by a funeral home\, and End of Life Planning. DESCRIPTION:Benefit Dinner for Emergency Shelter \nOn Friday\, October 11th\, come enjoy delicious Korean food and help support the amazing ministry of the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter (BES) starting soon in Bethlehem. Come anytime between 5:30 – 7 p.m. to the Christian Education building\, lower level\, and enjoy the company and delicious food prepared by our own Korean Moravian ministry of Central. The food will be prepared mild\, with the option of adding your own spice. They also will share music and photos from Korea and there will be a chance to also learn more about the Emergency Shelter\, which opens on November 1st in Christ UCC\, and how you can join other Central volunteers! Dinner is $15/person and there are a limited number of seats available. Please email or call the church office to reserve your spot. Please pay at the dinner. \nBethlehem Emergency Sheltering (BES) is a faith-based partnership that provides care and hospitality for the homeless in our community\, last year providing 10\,000 bed nights to an average of 62 guests per night\, with dinner and showers as well.

We gather as a “support group” and offer points of discussion from our individual life experiences. Our meetings conclude each week by 8:30 a.m.

Want to meet others interested in deepening their faith and exploring a commitment to becoming a member of Central Moravian? \nA series of four inquirers’ classes will begin this September; September 22\, 29\, October 6 and October 13 (from 12:15 – 2 p.m.) and can lead to church membership if desired. Reception Sunday will be October 27th. Lunch will be included in each class which will meet in the\nChristian Education building at 40 W. Church Street.
