Good News! It continues with MORE! \nHere’s what you will find when you come this September! 9 a.m. Old Chapel Worship. This worship service includes a children’s message\, and children’s packets and bulletins.\n(Children’s packets are also available at our 11 a.m. Sanctuary worship – look in the nursery in the West Room or ask a sacristan). Children of all ages\, if parents choose\, are\ndismissed after the children’s message (around 9:30 a.m.) to attend Children’s Choir with our Choir leader\, Linda de Vries and helpers. Parents are always welcome to accompany their\nchild if desired. \n10 a.m.:\nPre-K (ages 2 – Pre-K): 1st floor\, C. E. building classroom. This classroom is filled with age-appropriate Pre-K toys\, and our morning will start with a short lesson or book\, songs or\nsimple craft and end with time to play together. Courtney Weikert\, teacher and Ruth Ferrey\, helper. \nLower Elementary: Lower level\, C. E. building classroom. With wonderful decorations for our younger children starting in kindergarten\, this class will engage using “Holy Moly” curriculum\, featuring animated Bible story retellings and creative activities to follow the themes. DESCRIPTION:Friday Fun Night takes place on the 3rd Friday of every month\, from 6 – 8 p.m. Kids in kindergarten through fifth grade gather in the Christian Education building\, lower\nlevel (40 W. DESCRIPTION:Cybersecurity is the way to protect computer networks and systems from service disruption\, information theft and service redirection. The goal is simply to defend and protect servers\, personal and private data\, computers and mobile devices (smartphones\, laptops and tablets) from attack resulting in damage or theft. Cyber threats aren’t just growing; they are evolving at a very rapid rate. In 2024\, there were 3\,205 data breaches reported effecting 353 million victims. Major companies lost billions of customer records. Cybersecurity is essential and cannot be ignored.\nThe Digital Ministry Committee is dedicated to keeping our congregation informed regarding the ever-changing world of technology and will conduct a second annual workshop and update on Sunday\, August 17th in the Christian Education building\, lower level\, after the 10 a.m. worship service.

Moravian archival records\, both North\nand South\, reveal a long-term insider view of the actions and decisions of church leaders\, congregations\, agencies\, and Synods. Some of these have lain dormant\, without public discussion\, for\ndecades or centuries. We’ll explore some of the lowlights and highlights of what Moravians have done––for worse and for better––with respect to slavery\, segregation\, and discrimination.\nThese sometimes sobering\, sometimes inspiring stories offer both a lens and a mirror\, as we look at “them” then and ourselves now. \nRev. Dr. Frank Crouch will be our guest preacher on June 1st and will present his two-part lecture series on Wednesday\, June 4th and Wednesday\, June 11th. \nand their relationship to race and racism. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel\nHill (1977\, BA\, English)\, Moravian Theological Seminary (1980\, MDiv)\, and Duke University (1996\, PhD\, New Testament Studies). He serves on the Southern Province Moravian Team\nfor Racial\, Cultural\, & Ethnic Reconciliation. Frank lives in Bethlehem\, where he enjoys research\, movies\, music\, occasional dark chocolate\, and daily walks with his wife Audrey West and\ntheir dog\, Halo (not necessarily in that order).
