Neither is it an underprivileged community in a developing part of the world. Come and hear Rev Dr Winelle Kirton-Roberts\, founding Pastor of the Geneva Moravian Fellowship\, share the journey of this unique 21st century Moravian mission from its inception in 2019 to present. With the historic strength of Moravian missions\, the evolving work of the GMF has become a formidable presence and influence in Global and Ecumenical spaces. Her presentation\, “Geneva Moravian Fellowship: A Warm Home in a Global City\,” takes place on Wednesday\, June 3 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. in the Christian Education building\, lower level.

DESCRIPTION:A Presentation on Christian Nationalism \nAt the 2023 Synod of the Moravian Church Northern Province\, the Committee on Church and Society resolved that the MCNP rejects Christian Nationalism\, which supports racism and white supremacy\, and fall of 2024\, the Moravian Church Northern Province joined our ecumenical partners in endorsing the Statement of Christians against Christian Nationalism. What is Christian Nationalism\, and in particular\, how has the Moravian Church responded to the development of Christian Nationalism? What does our theology speak to this topic? Becky Lepore did extensive study on this topic during her seminary classes and created and presented a talk on Christian Nationalism in February 2025 to 120 interested congregation and community members. Becky will give an updated presentation on Sunday afternoon\, May 31st at 1 p.m. in the Christian Education Building. All are welcome.

We practiced being part of God’s loving family\, and since we are Moravian\, there was also some eating! Our final session takes place on May 17 at 10 a.m. Everyone’s invited to join us for a special program in the C. E. building. Good News! It continues with MORE! \nHere’s what you will find when you come this September! 9 a.m. Old Chapel Worship. This worship service includes a children’s message\, and children’s packets and bulletins.\n(Children’s packets are also available at our 11 a.m. Sanctuary worship – look in the nursery in the West Room or ask a sacristan). Children of all ages\, if parents choose\, are\ndismissed after the children’s message (around 9:30 a.m.) to attend Children’s Choir with our Choir leader\, Linda de Vries and helpers. Parents are always welcome to accompany their\nchild if desired. \n10 a.m.:\nPre-K (ages 2 – Pre-K): 1st floor\, C. E. building classroom. This classroom is filled with age-appropriate Pre-K toys\, and our morning will start with a short lesson or book\, songs or\nsimple craft and end with time to play together. Courtney Weikert\, teacher and Ruth Ferrey\, helper. \nLower Elementary: Lower level\, C. E. building classroom. With wonderful decorations for our younger children starting in kindergarten\, this class will engage using “Holy Moly” curriculum\, featuring animated Bible story retellings and creative activities to follow the themes. Kelly Ahn and Lynne Brolly\, teachers. \nUpper Elementary: Lower level\, C. E. building (former library). Come see our newly designed space for the older children with fun furniture coming soon! DESCRIPTION:Sunday School Begins for All Ages – Sept. 7 \nWe enjoyed an engaging Sunday School at 10 a.m. with classes for toddlers/Pre-K\, elementary\, and adults last year\, and started a Children’s Choir that met from 9:30 – 10 a.m. as\nthe children were excused from the 9 a.m. Worship before the sermon. Good News! It continues with MORE! \nHere’s what you will find when you come this September! 9 a.m. Old Chapel Worship. This worship service includes a children’s message\, and children’s packets and bulletins.\n(Children’s packets are also available at our 11 a.m. Sanctuary worship – look in the nursery in the West Room or ask a sacristan). Children of all ages\, if parents choose\, are\ndismissed after the children’s message (around 9:30 a.m.) to attend Children’s Choir with our Choir leader\, Linda de Vries and helpers. Parents are always welcome to accompany their\nchild if desired. \n10 a.m.:\nPre-K (ages 2 – Pre-K): 1st floor\, C. E. building classroom. This classroom is filled with age-appropriate Pre-K toys\, and our morning will start with a short lesson or book\, songs or\nsimple craft and end with time to play together. Courtney Weikert\, teacher and Ruth Ferrey\, helper. \nLower Elementary: Lower level\, C. E. building classroom. With wonderful decorations for our younger children starting in kindergarten\, this class will engage using “Holy Moly” curriculum\, featuring animated Bible story retellings and creative activities to follow the themes. Kelly Ahn and Lynne Brolly\, teachers. \nUpper Elementary: Lower level\, C. E. building (former library). Come see our newly designed space for the older children with fun furniture coming soon! This class will be using Re:Form\, a tween-based retelling with humor and a chance for journaling\, creative thinking\, etc. Gayle Dimmick and Karen Brady\, teachers.

DESCRIPTION:Friday Fun Night takes place on the 3rd Friday of every month\, from 6 – 8 p.m. Kids in kindergarten through fifth grade gather in the Christian Education building\, lower\nlevel (40 W.
