DESCRIPTION:Guests will be welcomed to visit and learn more about the 1751 Old Chapel\, where George Washington and Benjamin Franklin worshipped and which welcomed local Native Americans as well as German settlers in its early history.   The Chapel is still used for Sunday worship\, memorial services\, weddings and other church events.\n\nThe Church Sanctuary was built from 1803-1806.  Guests will learn more not only about its architectural design\, history of music and worship\, but also the living ministries of Central Moravian Church today.  Unique places like the 2nd floor Kleiner Saal will be included on this tour.   A suggested donation of $5/person.   A gift shop with many unique Moravian items\, as well as books and other gifts will be open.\n\nOutside of our regular hours\, guided tours of the Sanctuary and Old Chapel can also be arranged by contacting the church office. A suggested donation of $5/person is requested for these tours.   They can be arranged subject to a tour guide and the church’s availability.

They boycotted discriminatory stores\, libraries\, beaches\, buses\, and other public facilities. They marched on sidewalks\, city streets\, and highways. They dedicated their lives to make ours a country of equality for all people.

We invite everyone to join us for this joyous occasion as we celebrate God’s call upon her life and ministry. \nBecky will conclude her responsibilities as Minister of Music on June 30 and officially begin her new pastoral role on July 1. \nShe will be installed as Pastor of Congregational Life during worship at 10 a.m. on Sunday\, July 5.

SUMMARY:Morning Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:Morning Bible Study is a free-spirited\, discussion-oriented Bible Study group that meets every Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. in the lower level of the Christian Education building and by way of Zoom – with lots of interesting food and coffee or tea. The discussion is led by various members of the group allowing for comments and observations. We gather as a “support group” and offer points of discussion from our individual life experiences. Our meetings conclude each week by 8:30 a.m.
