SUMMARY:Morning Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:Morning Bible Study is a free-spirited\, discussion-oriented Bible Study group that meets every Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. in the lower level of the Christian Education building and by way of Zoom – with lots of interesting food and coffee or tea. The discussion is led by various members of the group allowing for comments and observations. We gather as a “support group” and offer points of discussion from our individual life experiences. Our meetings conclude each week by 8:30 a.m.

DESCRIPTION:Preparing for End of Life – Two Presentations by the Congregational Care Committee \nWhen a family experiences the loss of a loved one\, in addition to experiencing intense grief and suffering\, they are presented with overwhelming and difficult decisions. By planning your memorial service\, preparing your memoir\, completing your end of life documents\, and making your wishes known ahead of time\, you can ease the burdens placed on your loved ones. On Wednesday\, October 23rd\, from 6 – 8 p.m.\, Rev. Janel Rice and Becky Lepore will guide you through choosing hymns\, scriptures\, and liturgies for your memorial service\, and will assist you in reflecting on important moments in your life as you share your journey with God through your memoir (lebenslauf). \nOn Wednesday\, November 13\, from 6 – 8 p.m.\, Justin Keiper from Cantelmi-Long Funeral Home\, and Rick Santee will provide helpful information to guide you in what to expect when a loved one passes away\, the resources offered by a funeral home\, and End of Life Planning.
