Want to meet others interested in deepening their faith and exploring a commitment to becoming a member of Central Moravian? \nA series of four inquirers’ classes will begin this September; September 22\, 29\, October 6 and October 13 (from 12:15 – 2 p.m.) and can lead to church membership if desired. Reception Sunday will be October 27th. Lunch will be included in each class which will meet in the\nChristian Education building at 40 W. Church Street. DESCRIPTION:Central’s Christian Education Programs\nWhether you are a kid\, teen\, or adult\, there are offerings to meet your needs. After being dismissed from the 9 a.m. service\, we will have a weekly children’s choir from 9:30 until 10 in the Christian Education building. Kids between the ages of 6-12 are invited to stay for Sunday School from 10-10:50. Kids between 2-5 will have their Sunday School time from 9:30-10 a.m.\, followed by free play from 10 -10:50 in the C. E. building. Middle school students are welcome to sing and help the Children’s Choir\, after which they will have their own Sunday School. Adult Sunday School\, led by professor of New Testament Dr. Brigidda Bell\, will also return.\nOne of Central’s most popular programs\, Friday Fun Night (FFN)\, will return this year. From 6-8 p.m. on the third Friday of the month\, parents are invited to drop their kids off at the Christian Education building for a night of games\, food\, music\, and storytime. This year\, FFN will be open to 2 – 5-year-olds. We are excited about the growth and vitality of our Christian Education opportunities and sincerely hope you will join us.

DESCRIPTION:Moravian Women Groups\nThe Moravian Women is an excellent way of finding fellowship monthly with a short Bible study and reflection time. If you feel like you would like to meet other women in the church or that perhaps a weekly commitment isn’t for you\, join the Moravian Women. One option is on the 2nd Sunday at 10 a.m. (in person)\, the other option is the 3rd Monday at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Pastor Janel is leading this new group on Monday nights on Zoom as a way to reach out to women who might be working during the day or needing an online option. Look for\nthe Zoom link in Constant Contact or reach out to Pastor Janel at janel@centralmoravianchurch.org. A short study guide will be shared with no more than 1-2 pages of reading each month.

DESCRIPTION:Fair Trade Coffee\, Tea\, Chocolate Sales \nWhat does that mean? We support small farmers by working in a co-op owned model. The Equal Exchange uses their long-standing relationships to secure the best crops. A growing community of citizen-consumers are working together to build a better food system by organizing and engaging in shared learning. If you are concerned about climate change and the threat it has on the livelihood of farmers or how multinationals are controlling our food industry\, join us in supporting Equal Exchange products. We will be offering coffee\, chocolate\, and tea in limited selections next Sunday\, April 30 and May 14. Our plan is to keep the Coffee Ministry available every second Sunday of the month thereafter. Our table will be available in the Northeast corner of the sanctuary\, very close to the Chapel\, after the 9 and 11 a.m. service. DESCRIPTION:Bethlehem Area CROP Hunger Walk – October 13 \nThe 39th annual Bethlehem Area CROP Walk will take place on Sunday\, October 13\, with registration at 1 p.m. near the Sand Island basketball courts and step-off time at 1:30. Bikes\, strollers\, and canine companions are all welcome\, and you can walk (run\, jog\, skip) one\, two\, or all 2.7 miles. You’re invited to join some 300\,000 walkers representing more than 700 teams from around the country in supporting hunger initiatives locally and around the world (25% of funds raised are kept for local hunger programs). Started in 1969\, this is the “grandaddy” of all charity walks.
