SUMMARY:Star and Candle Craft and Bake Shoppe
DESCRIPTION:An Old Favorite with a New Name!\nJust across the hall from the Central Putz is the newly redesigned Star and Candle Craft and Bake Shoppe featuring traditional Moravian stars and candles\, as well as a variety of delicious homemade cookies and snacks.\nBaker Tom Tenges will offer several varieties of favorite cookies each week\, such as pumpkin snickerdoodles\, pizzelles\, chocolate chip and Martha Washington cookies\, as well as peppermint bark candy. We welcome Becky Lepore as a new crafter this year\, selling lovely hand knit items for everyone\, including adorable baby sweaters and hats. There will be a good selection of matted or framed photography from our resident photographer Linda Wickmann. Paper stars and framed Scherenschnitte type pictures will be available\, as well as two sizes of lighted Moravian stars and gift-boxed Christmas Eve beeswax candles. Last day of the Shoppe will be Sunday\, Dec. 10

SUMMARY:Luminaria Night
DESCRIPTION:Light a Candle with us: Luminaria Night\, Dec. 9th.\nPlease join us on Friday\, December 9th\, for the Luminaria festivities. This is one of the most\nbeautiful ways to celebrate the holiday season in Bethlehem. We will meet in the food pantry at\n4 PM\, behind 73 W Church St\, to set up the bags and candles\, and then pull wagons to Church\nStreet where the decorating begins. We will light our candles around 5:30 with others in the\nhistoric district.\n\nFollowing the lighting of the candles\, join us for a potluck dinner in the Chapel basement. So\nplan to bring something to share. Drinks will be provided. And don’t forget to dress\nwarmly. We will be outside for the placement and lighting of the Luminaria.
