DESCRIPTION:February Zoom Book Group “Can you Drink this Cup” (Henri Nouwen) \nJoin Pastor Janel and Diane Kessler as they lead three parts Zoom book study\, either on Mondays (10 a.m.) or Wednesdays (7 p.m.). “Can you drink this cup?” Jesus asks\nthis question of his disciples\, and of us. Using the cup as a metaphor\, Nouwen explores the Holding\, Lifting and Drinking the cup of joy and the cup of sorrow as the basics\nof a spiritual life. He explores how we both can individually drink this cup\, but doing so in community\, can hold and lift each other up. Mondays\, February 3\, 10 and 24 at 10 a.m.\n(taking off for Presidents’ Day) and Wednesdays\, February 5\, 12\, and 26 at 7 p.m. – same class. The book is $10\, available on Amazon or we will have some copies available for you in\nchurch starting January 12. Please sign up by contacting the church office.
