SUMMARY:Sanctuary Worship
DESCRIPTION:Central to Open Fully on May 31 \n\nAt long last\, we are able to announce that Central Church and campus will open fully for worship services and in-person group meetings on Monday\, May 31. Church groups (boards\, committees\, study groups\, etc.) should make their own decisions about when (or whether) to begin meeting in person. Our online presence\, including worship services\, will continue.\n\nStarting now\, pre-registration to attend worship will no longer be required. Seating in the sanctuary will be modified to allow for additional worshippers. For the time being\, the balcony will remain closed so that it can be used by the soloists and other musicians.\n\nPer the latest CDC guidance\, fully vaccinated congregants are no longer required to wear masks indoors. Those not yet fully vaccinated must continue to do so.\n\nAs we continue to get back to “normal\,” we do ask that if you are experiencing symptoms (fever\, cough\, etc.) or if you have traveled to an area that has a high incidence of illness in the last two weeks\, please participate virtually.  If you attend a service and become ill\, please inform the church office of a positive diagnosis as soon as possible. Any reports will be managed confidentially. In the event that conditions change and state and CDC guidelines call for it\, it may be necessary to return to some of the earlier restrictions.\n\nWe extend our deepest gratitude to all of you for the patience and care you have exercised during the last year.  Many thanks to the Church staff (especially our custodians and technology specialists)\, as well as our Sacristans\, for enabling us to continue worshipping and carrying out the work of the Church.\n\nWe are overjoyed to be able to expand options to gather in person.\n\nWith blessings to all\,\n\nHopeton Clennon\, Senior Pastor\nMary Catherine Tachovsky\, President of Trustees\nDiane Shaw\, Vice President of Elders
