SUMMARY:Cross Roads Congregational Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Congregational Retreat – “When Simplicity We Cherish”\nWe often talk about a simpler life\, but how do we apply that to particular parts of our daily life? Join us for a time to simplify and to be away on retreat\, enjoying times of quiet and conversation and a program that focuses around the theme and book “Simpler Living\, Compassionate Life”. Our Congregational Retreat is open to all on Wednesday\, September 24 (registration at 1:30 p.m.) until Thursday\, September 25 (ending at 1 p.m.) at the Cross Roads Retreat Center\, in Port Murray\, NJ. Just a short 1-hour drive from Bethlehem\, this retreat center offers comfortable rooms\, delicious meals and a beautiful\, rural setting. Sessions include conversation and small group discussion\, but there will be plenty of non-structured time as well. The retreat will be co-led by Becky Lepore and Rev. Janel Rice. Contact the church office to register. Cost is $50/person (based on double occupancy\, $100 if single room is desired) and includes dinner (Sept. 24)\, breakfast and lunch (Sept. 25) and accommodations. Thanks to the Prime Fund for sponsorship.
