Youth Service Days: July 11 - 13 - Three Days of Local Service Projects to Help our Neighbors. About 10 of our Central youth and friends worked at Equilibrium Horse Stables to help handicapped children who go to ride horses, Victory House to serve lasagna, and painting a room at the South Bethlehem Neighborhood Center.
Working at Equilibrium to clean a pasture up!
Making lasagna to serve at Victory House in Bethlehem. We made 26 trays that day! What a lot of lasagna!

Finished room at the South Bethlehem Neighborhood Center, in fresh paint!

Mission Camp where 14 youth and chaperones traveled to North Carolina this summer to help repair people's homes while staying at Laurel Ridge camp.
Our annual Advent Workshop on the First Sunday of Advent provides a time for crafts, music and fellowship for all ages!
In July of 2005 many of our senior high youth traveled to Calgary Canada to join in a North American gathering of all Senior High Moravian Youth - called Convo. Our theme was "Learning our Story - Living our Mission" and we learned how to connect our Bible stories with our current mission as young people in the church.
Here we are making sandwiches for a homeless shelter in Calgary.
Each year our Social Action Committee puts together an Earth Day celebration, teaching our young people and adults the importance of environmental stewardship. Here are two youth learning how to plant seeds during last year's presentation by Rodale Institute. The day ended with a field trip to Rodale farms to learn about organic farming procedures (and stop for ice cream on the way home).
Ask Pastor Janel Rice about upcoming Earth Day and environmental involvement at Central Church.
Collecting and delivering canned food during Church school occurs each year around Thanksgiving time. Our children enjoy marching to the food bank with red wagons filled with donations.
Our middle school youth enjoy gathering in our Christian Education building and Moravian Academy gym, here they are featured in a heated game of volleyball. Middle School hang-out nights include a time for conversation, dinner, dodgeball, board games, ping pong ... and much more!
